Welcome!

We've been expecting you...

After thousands of products tasted, hundreds of design iterations, tens of brand names, a handful of really helpful partners - we launched three delicious fresh & chilled chocolate flavours  during one all-consuming global pandemic. This was the realisation of a dream for Steve & Giles with a combined 30 years experience working on world-famous chocolate brands.

Long life vs fresh chocolate...

Firstly, once we had cracked 'fresh chocolate' as a product and an idea, we decided to call the rest of the chocolate market (i.e. most of the stuff that's available in the shops today) 'long-life chocolate' because...it is - 99% of chocolate you buy sits on the shelf and lasts 12+ months.

Whereas our fresh chocolate lasts 4-6 weeks in the fridge because it contains fresh organic cream from the Cotswolds.

There's nothing right or wrong with either - it's just about taste and choices.

How to enjoy fresh chocolates

Secondly, we are often asked about the best way to enjoy our chocolate - because it's not quite the same as the 'long-life' stuff. Well, everyone has their favourite method, but we'd recommend taking it out of the fridge for 5-10 minutes before eating.

We know from surveys that about half of chocolate eaters are 'suckers' and half are 'biters'. The debate between the two can get heated, but, as the organic cream centres in our chocolates melt much more slowly than chocolate made with palm oil, if you really want to get the most out of our chocolates - we recommend sucking!

Finally, you probably already know that we are a start-up, launched in the middle of a pandemic. We always strive to be ridiculously good, but know that we occasionally fall-short, so we will always be grateful for both your business and your patience.

If you've been kind enough to order, we really hope you enjoy the chocolates - please do let us know by leaving a review. We are always striving to make things better.

In the meantime, stay safe and well everyone.

Steve & Giles
