World First - from Bean to Bliss in 20 minutes...

Steve needs a break

In the run-up to Easter, Steve has been complaining that we're working him too hard, so we recently made contact with 'Bella Barista', one of the UK's leading suppliers of coffee machines (who happened to supply our office machine) and asked if they could help us design an in-home chocolate maker - thus saving Steve a LOT of effort!

It was never going to be easy

Nobody has done this before - literally going from bean to fresh chocolate in a counter-top maker.
Below - Steve in discussion with Rodney from Bella Barista

Every element was new

Making fresh chocolates is technically complex and very temperature-sensitive, so we had to design everything ourselves from scratch.

After weeks of sleepless nights, a lot of very wonky chocolates and a massively over-engineered prototype machine we nicknamed 'The Beast' -  that took about an hour to make each chocolate and 3 people to operate!...

Introducing the Chocovator 500

...we finally got the size down to counter-top and The Chocovator 500 was born- named because it can produce about 500 fresh chocolates an hour, from your kitchen.

All you need is cocoa liquor, fresh organic cream, fresh organic butter, wildflower honey, just enough sugar and a pinch of sea salt - plus any other 'flavour' ingredients like Hazelnuts.

Just choose the flavour you'd like, pour the ingredients into the funnels on top and wait about 20 minutes for the Chocovator 500 to work its magic!

From Bean to Bliss in 20 minutes

The Russell & Atwell Chocovator 500 isn’t just a machine—it’s a ritual. Whether you're pouring pure molten chocolate into funnels, checking the precision temperature gauge, or just sneaking a taste of the very first 'drop'; this machine brings the theatre and luxury of fresh, handcrafted chocolate all the way into your kitchen

Because the best chocolates aren’t just eaten—they’re made.

If you don't manage to pick up one of the machines (we've only got a very small number to release this morning),  do check-out our regular range or indeed the delicious coffee from Bella Barista.
Enjoy this first April day.

P.S. We're doing some further top secret work with Bella Barista including on a new Micro Batch in May - more to come!
