Bruce - the cake that launched a thousand chocolates...

24 layers of chocolatiness
When earlier this year, Rich Myers from Get Baked, ‘Britain’s rudest baker’ got in touch to talk about a potential collaboration between R&A and his famous, but difficult-to-get-hold-of Bruce cake, we thought this is worth exploring.
So Steve (Russell), Giles (Atwell) and Sofya (who looks after our marketing) travelled up to Leeds for a chat over a coffee and a slice. Once we'd tasted his sensational 24-layer ‘Bruce’ Chocolate cake, we knew we couldn’t say no!
Our first collaboration
We've never done a flavour collab before - so this was already exciting. In a cafe around the corner from Get Baked we got plotting how to translate an incredibly rich and chocolatey cake into R&A fresh chocolate!

Steve works his magic
After weeks of development, hundreds of prototypes ending-up in the bin and obviously a lot of tasting...
...our very own Bruce-inspired chocolates were born!
Our softest, creamiest ganache-centre yet
These fresh chocolates are created with the creamiest most buttery (almost cakey) super-soft chocolatey ganache in the centre, enveloped by our signature rich chocolate shell for the R&A ‘double-crack’ experience.
How do I get hold of them?
We'll be bundling the Bruce chocolates into our signature 'Monty' variety packs where you get either 3 or 6 pouches with your favourite flavours (like Creamy Milk or Dirty Blond) all including free standard delivery.
We have limited stocks and will be 'dropping' our batch of freshly made Bruce chocolates at 10am on Monday, together with Get Baked!
